Adicolor — adidas’ legacy franchise — was facing stagnating sales as consumers opted for more trend-based, hype collections. Consumers felt that the apparel was too brand heavy, lacked originality and just felt dated.

adicolor is a pure incarnation of Adidas, defined by its three stripes and a trefoil. But the lasting appeal is built on the self-expression by those who wear it, and represented by three unique expressions of adicolor: Classics, Bold and Contempo, each with their own style and personality.
